Edaphon Farm is about life and the experience of living. Life always finds a way, so we might as well work with it! By understanding, cooperating with, and creating the conditions for life to thrive, we can accelerate natural creative processes and then harvest the abundance. For example, when growing our mushrooms we know what types of trees they naturally grow on and what time of year they tend to fruit: this tells us what kind of substrate they might like, what temperature they grow and then fruit at, and what level of humidity they like. Observation is the best teacher! Our interests and offerings are as varied as the life of the soil. From mushroom growing supplies to fermented hot sauces, we are about health and vitality for all our community, humans and microbes alike. We believe that life loves life, and the more we surround ourselves with life the more love and joy we feel.
