Sweetgrass is an herb held sacred by indigenous cultures around the world, but particularly by many Native American nations and often seen as the hair of Mother Earth. It has a smell like warm vanilla, cardamom, and something that many people describe as reminiscent of home. Our sweetgrass is grown and hand braided by us here at Edaphon Farm. Burning sweetgrass is integral to many traditional ceremonies as a way to send messages, bring in positive energy, and communicate with the spirit world.  Each braid comes with a jobs tear to hang the braid or to wear as a fragrant braclet.
